THE YOUNG URBAN FILMMAKERS OF COLORADO – ALSO KNOWN AS “YUFC FILMS” – IS  A FILM PRODUCTION COMPANY FOUNDED BY NYKE NITTI AND NATHAN LATTEER In 2010.

TOGETHER, THEY created the short film called “Hustle & Tymin”, A short film that would detail certain events in Nyke’s music career. After releasing the film Hustle & Tymin straight to DVD, Nyke caught the movie bug! He decided that he wanted to create a full-length film. The movie, “Grit City” became the next film project. With Film Director and Editor Sean Dreezen. JOINING Quan Wells and Fred Fullilove, NYKE began laying out what would be one of the biggest underground film classics to be released from Colorado, Writing, directing, producing, and playing a small role in the film.

Nyke did it all his way. Grit City was a hit! He rented a few movie theatres, sold tickets, and sold out the venues at each showing. The movies left the crowds cheering and giving the film Grit City standing ovations at the end of each viewing. SINCE THEN THEY HAVE RELEASED SEVERAL PROJECTS, SUCH AS “hIGHER: THE MINISERIES” WITH DISTRIBUTION PROVIDED VIA EYEJOY, SET TO RELEASE IN THE SUMMER OF 2024 FOR THE FIRST TIME ON ALL MAJOR VIDEO-ON-DEMAND STREAMING PLATFORMS.
